He has deep healthcare domain knowledge including technologies such as HL7 FHIR. Tim holds a an MS in Medical Informatics from Boston University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers. Tim is also a Navy veteran. He resides in in North Carolina and enjoys sailing in his spare time.

Mark Scrimshire (aka @ekivemark) is a Health and Social Technology Consultant. Mark is well-known in the healthcare world as Chief Instigator and Co-Founder of the non-profit HealthCamp Foundation, organizing un-conference events around the world that “Empower Health Care Engagement.” Mark has managed complex projects in healthcare, internet, telecommunications, and finance. Mark is based in Maryland and is a qualified Ski Instructor.

Alan has served as a program and project manager for a variety of enterprise informatics initiatives including: LabWare LIMS implementation and validation for Manufacturing Operations, project management for R&D & QC LIMS development phase, Watson LIMS deployment and validation, NuGenesis SDMS selection, E-Signature Policy development, Electronic Archive Development, and Global Product Development Portfolio Management Database deployment. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Studies & Information Systems from Sheffield Hallam University.

Gordon is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of entrepreneurial leadership experience delivering a high level of success. He co-founded Parata Systems, a leading pharmacy automation and packaging solution company, and Nekton Research, a leading developer of autonomous underwater robotic vehicles for the Department of Defense, and served as a mentor, advisor and investor to numerous high-growth start-ups.
